About EBGS Wellness Center

Wellness works best when it is informed.

IV hydration and wellness can be useful for some people and unnecessary for others. We explain how it works, what each option contains and what the evidence says, so you can ask better questions and decide with confidence.

Wellness is a daily practice, not a single appointment.

Most of what supports energy, recovery and resilience happens outside a clinic: regular sleep, enough water, balanced meals, movement, stress management and keeping up with routine medical care.

Wellness services work best when they sit on top of those foundations rather than replace them. Physician-directed IV hydration and wellness is one tool within that picture. For some people it addresses a specific need, such as fluid loss. For others, the most useful result of an evaluation is a clear answer, which can include an oral option.

Our mission is to help every visitor feel informed, comfortable and cared for, from the first question to the next step.

How IV hydration and wellness works

An intravenous (IV) infusion delivers fluid, and sometimes added vitamins and minerals, through a small tube placed in a vein. Here is what is worth knowing before you ask about it.

Delivered directly

An IV places fluid and nutrients straight into the bloodstream instead of passing through digestion. That can work sooner than drinking or eating, and it is also why it should be guided by a physician.

Individualized

IV treatment requires an evaluation and an individualized order. Ingredients are subject to physician and pharmacy approval, so the right option depends on you.

Not always necessary

Oral fluids and food are the first choice for mild dehydration and many nutrient needs. IV hydration is typically considered when oral fluids are insufficient, such as after heat, travel or fluid losses.

What is in an IV, and why.

Each option on our menu is built from a short list of familiar ingredients. Here is what they are and what they are generally used for.

See the full menu and pricing →
Normal saline (0.9% sodium chloride)
A sterile salt-and-water solution used in medicine to replace fluid and sodium. It is the base of every option on our menu and the whole of Essential Hydration.
B-complex vitamins and vitamin B12
B vitamins help the body turn food into energy. Replacement makes the most sense when levels are low or absorption is limited, and many people get enough from food.
Magnesium
A mineral involved in muscle and nerve function and in energy metabolism. It appears in our Recovery & Replenish and Signature Wellness options.
Vitamin C
An antioxidant the body needs for tissue repair and normal immune function. It appears in our Immune Wellness, Beauty & Glow and Signature Wellness options.
Zinc
A trace mineral that supports normal immune function and wound healing. It is part of our Immune Wellness option.
Glutathione
An antioxidant the body makes naturally. It appears in Beauty & Glow and Signature Wellness. Research on IV glutathione for skin or general wellness in healthy people is limited, which is why we say results vary.

Clear information for confident choices.

Understand your options with straightforward information about IV hydration, current evidence and your individual goals.

Established uses

IV fluids are a standard medical treatment for dehydration and fluid loss when hydration by mouth is insufficient.

Understanding individual results

Each person’s experience is different. Energy, immune, cosmetic and athletic-performance benefits in healthy people have yet to be established. Feeling better after an infusion may reflect rehydration, rest and attention.

We explain what each option contains, why it may be considered and what the evidence shows, so you can discuss realistic expectations with your care team.

Is IV hydration right for you?

IV treatment is not suitable for everyone. Because fluids and minerals go straight into the bloodstream, your health history matters, and a physician decides what is appropriate.

This website is not for emergencies. If you feel seriously unwell, call 911 or seek urgent medical care.

Be ready to talk about

  • Heart or kidney conditions, since IV fluids and minerals can affect how these organs cope
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Medications and supplements you take regularly
  • Allergies, or any past reaction to an IV treatment

Common questions about IV hydration.

Plain answers to what people ask us most.

What is IV hydration therapy?

IV hydration therapy gives fluids, and in some cases vitamins and minerals, directly into a vein. At EBGS Wellness Center it is physician-directed, which means an evaluation and an individualized order come first.

How is IV hydration different from drinking water?

Drinking water works through digestion, while an IV delivers fluid straight into the bloodstream. For most people drinking enough fluid is the right first step, and IV hydration is typically considered when oral fluids are insufficient.

Who might consider IV hydration and wellness?

People who have lost fluids through heat, travel or illness, or who want to talk through nutrient support, may ask about it. Whether it is appropriate depends on an individual evaluation by a physician.

Are the benefits of IV vitamins proven?

IV fluids are a well-established treatment for dehydration. Energy, immune, cosmetic and athletic-performance benefits in healthy people are unproven, and results vary from person to person.

Do I need an evaluation before treatment?

Yes. IV treatment requires an evaluation and an individualized order, and oral options may be appropriate. Ingredients are subject to physician and pharmacy approval.

How do I book an appointment?
